I just bought a used PSE coyote recurve. I’m not an archer, so I don’t know my ass from a hole in the ground with this. I just want to mess around with this while getting my 15 year old son into archery.
What arrows should I use?
Finger tabs? Glove? Silicone finger savers?

I ended up with the garmin 200i. I’m really not crazy about the combined tracking and shock, but it seems that is the way things are going. Thanks for all the input and advice.
Thank you gentlemen. I appreciate the insight. The longer battery life of the alpha systems is a big plus. My biggest concern is any glitches/bugs of these systems, but most people seem to have minimal problems with them.
I agree with everything stated so far. In my personal experience, with two shorthairs, my dogs looked to me for leadership/guidance. That's because I am consistent with that leadership and guidance. My wife and two boys, not so much. So yes, you'll end up with a great dog both in the field...
This can’t be stressed enough. Far too many people talk way too much at their dog, creating background noise. Dogs will learn to tune you out when you’re always talking.
I have used the 2.75" twenty gauge shells as well as 3" mags. Good results from both on ducks and geese. Keep in mind that this is small farm pond hunting.
I was looking at the rimfire gauge sold by Neil Jones custom products while buying some other items. Why not measure the overall length of the cartridge as opposed to using this tool? Also, as someone who has no knowledge of reloading, is rim thickness something you'd measure in centerfire...
Not trying to derail this discussion, but in terms of responsible breeding, what qualities do you look for in a prospective female? My dad and I have discussed the possibility of maybe breeding his female someday. Admittedly, neither one of us has any experience breeding dogs. We’re also not...
