Thanks for the help guys. I am starting to at least get a starting point for my one and only scouting trip this summer. I am wondering what I should hold out for size wise?
I know this is crazy but I won the Southwest Desert Muzzleloadet tag at the SLC Expo. It is early so I will do as much scouting as I can but it is kind of hard from southern Wyoming. This was totally unexpected so I am using any info I can. So if anyone has any good info about this area I...
My brother is going to burn his Colorado deer points this year. He has 12 points and is looking for a great hunt. There are a few hunts that he doesn't have a chance of drawing but they are few and far between. Any info would be great.
I am one of the disgruntled people. I don't know if I slept with someones wife or what but I can't draw a tag to save my life. With that said I am not in favor of a preference point system. I see how it works in Colorado where you might get to hunt one of the really good areas once in a...

I enjoy horn porn just as much as the next guy. The other night when I was cutting up my elk it really hit me why I really do this. Even though the steaks off this bull are pretty tough he sure will feed my family well.

I recently had a RUM built I have never had any extraction problems. I handload for it and am able to have a longer OAL because of the magazine. The rifle shoots like a dream and does not kick more then a .270. It does have a break and is heavy. This was built as a long range gun. I shoot...
I didn't have to much time to rifle hunt elk this year. I have spent to much time helping other people and doing other things so the wife was getting a little impatient. We went in the night before the opener to find some of the bulls we had seen during bow season. We found a couple of good...
