What Old/Odd Chamberings Have You Actually Used To Kill Big Game Animals ?
I’ve only ever used normal stuff but my dad on the other hand has a beautiful Schultz and Larson 7x61 that he has used for years to take elk and deer. -
Another reason WA sucks
Now don’t get me wrong, the amount of deer in this valley here is amazing, can’t only think of maybe one area in Washington where I’ve seen the quantity of deer.- Bgriffith

Gold and silver
Gold and silver should (in my opinion) be used to hedge against inflation… while I do have say… I donno 5-8ish maybe percent in my portfolio of physical metals it’s mainly to have something in case the dollar crashes. Short action vs. long action
Cycle time? Or that was the old thought that shorter “throw” would mean less time between shots… or less metal=lighter action… and that might be true when you break down ounces… interesting side note I’ve kinda been intrigued by “short action” calibers in long actions with big (long) heavy, fast... -

Halibut,salmon, and cod fishing trip
Headed to Sitka the end of this month, my grandfather went there last year and had such a good time (and lots of salmon, halibut, cod, and rock fish) he booked us this year… will have to do a write up if it’s any good.- Bgriffith

AZ is my last hope this year for an outta state hunt. Hoping to draw a “cows” whitetail this year!
