BuzzH had a good idea. Since many of us use Mystery Ranch packs, a thread where we post pics that have Mystery Ranch packs would be a good idea. So, post them here, even if you have posted them in some other thread.

Many sponsors still have the false impression that On Your Own hunters are casual guys who hunt on their own because they lack funds to hunt with guides. It is an uphill battle to convince industry that the On Your Own audience is comprised of some of the most hard core hunters in the country. And most often, OYOA guys hunt On Your Own because they want to and because that type of hunting defines who they are.

The guys at Mystery Ranch hunt hard and support/promote our message to many other companies in industry. They are some of the biggest promoters of OYOA within the hunting industry. So, I have no problems with a thread that promotes their packs.

Hoping a thread of kick ass pics, showing the stuff you and your buddies kill, might cause a few of them to think otherwise.

So, let 'er rip.

Colorado bighorn. Two miles, lots of elevation, two Crew Cabs filled to the gills - one trip.

A few of mine:

I cant really say enough about how good their packs are, I've used mine from within spitting distance of the Mexico border to Alaska in all kinds of weather and the pack has never let me down.

This was an OMOA (On my own) so It would have been hard to get a pic wearing it, but this is an 85 pound load,

Decent little springtime load and a bear hunting bonus. Somewhere I have a picture of me packing a turkey in mine.

Colo elk.....the 2nd picture is the wife packing her cow elk.

I did not get a picture of my leg snapping on the last load I tried to carry with the CC this year. When they said the pack is likely tougher than you are, I guess it was true...

I need to dig up a picture of my crew cab strapped onto my ATV for Dinkshooter...

A Wyoming buck. Oak shared the other half in his Crew Cab.

BTW, if you want to take a good antelope judge with you, Oak is the guy. Decided to have this buck officially scored last week, after a 15 month drying period. Oak was within a half inch of the gross score when he glassed it from 300 yards away. I was more optimistic and attribute my difference to the extended drying period.

You guys and your professional photographers..
here's a tired SOB with a longbow full of elk meat.
