Default Idaho Shed Hunting

I thought I would share a few pics from this year.

Some deer sheds.

Some elk.

Nice haul!
Looks like you've got your own private little spot with all that white laying around.

Very nice!! Hoping the youngster bagged a few 'diggers' while out looking for horns.

Well of course he's sandbagging. What he didn't show was the matched pair of 400" antlers he scored from a monster bull.

Great sheds, congrats. I'm not sure all the ones I've found this year together would add up to the size of even that first muley.

ummmm.... I don't think so.

Went out a couple of weekends ago and found the match to a big one Kawika found earlier. Was a pretty good trip with two smaller brown sets and a decent year old horn. Kawika shot a few diggers and had a good old time just sleeping in the truck for the night.

Matched up.

A cool find.

I have more to post but haven't uploaded them yet. Last trip out on Monday was a good one. 8 elk and 6 deer. I finally had to stop and head back 5+ miles with 105 pound pack full of horns. I was dogged that day.

You should be home painting your fence instead.

105lbs? I wish I could have a day like that.

Dude you sound just like my wife.

Here is a big old 5 point set I found. He doesn't have much for tine length but was just heavy and big all around. Each horn weighted 12 lbs each and the set scored just under 300.

All the horns together minus one that I found on the way back.

Back at the truck.

Pictures on the ground just don't do them justice. That 5-point is a stud bull.
