NE Oregon spring bear hunt 2014 (Memorial Day Weekend). My best friend, wife, son and I spent four fabulous days in NE Oregon chasing black bears. While we didn't connect with a bruin, we saw plenty and had an absolute blast enjoying Mother Nature at her finest! We moved camp once and our second camp happened to be located very near to a large morel mushroom patch.

I was looking through old photos today, and remembered seeing this thread. Here's my deer camp in 2004. The old Coleman tent wasn't designed for those conditions.

Last year I was able to upgrade to a wall tent camp. It's a lot easier to keep hunting when you can be comfortable.
