Interested in a trading it for a matt black Weaver Grand Slam? My wife's gun in SS but has the black Weaver on it.

A buddy had an older gloss black Leupold he painted with some cerakote cold applied spray to a graphite black and it came out real nice and it's durable stuff.

I had to strip my leup to make it silver to match my Ruger when they only made black? Great question.
How about buying new glass?

I painted a scope once. Can't remember what with though. Read what paint to use on the net and then bought it at Walmart.

Have you considered hydro dipping? There are a number of companies that do this. I'm not sure where you're located, but here's one in MT

Use duracoat, painted a few rifles & scopes, it works great!
