Looks as though early elk bow season around the lower Musselshell Valley, Petroleum county and western Garfield county might be a bust. Lots of flooded areas, bridges out and who knows what shape the roads will be in. May have to avoid that area for this season. MTG

It will be interesting no doubt. Anyone heard anything about the roads on the North side?

Sounds like the eastern stuff is passable. Might not be able to get a camper out past the pines though.

Sounds to me like those who take some time to plug in an extra set of cranium batteries are going to enjoy a vast area of lo-pressure hunting.

The approach to the bridge over the Musselshell at the 13 mile mark on the Lower River road is out from Petroleum county to Garfield county. The road is not good. This from my neighbor to the north of our property on the Musselshell. Gonna have to wait until regular season and then be cautious about where to travel in that country. MTG

is the wilder trail road from 191 passable from 191 until it ties into musselshell trail? And how bout the roads north of winnett, can you even get to crooked creek marina?
