Arizona Cow Hunt - Unit 1 - Dec 5

My son drew a late season cow tag for Unit 1. I hunted bulls there many years ago and know the country a little. Any advice from someone with experience in the unit? Looks like weather may be a little late this year, this could effect the elk somewhat.

The area around Big Lake if the snow is light.. If not, look farther south along the reservation line below Boggy Creek and south from there.

Hunt the area south of Boggy Creek, along the reservation line. You might also look in the flats west of the bridge across the Little Colorado..
