I knew it looked like the area around Belt also, you can't beat the beer from there either" pigs ass" from Belt BrewingCo.

These pics make me miss last summer living in neihart working on the FS trail crew. Gotta spend alot of time in that country. Belt is one of my favorite towns. Good people, good beer, good hunting, good fishing.. whats not to love?

I did a winter in MT in 75/76. -35 to -75 for 3 months. It started in Sept and I left it in April.......got too cold to work construction ,shut us down. One guy died when he ran out of gas 2mi from jobsite.Froze.
Now the short summer is a great time of the year. Hunting /fishing Great too.

I climbed to the top of Square Butte, nice view.
Very worthwhile, give it a try sometime.
I've also been to the top of Granite Mountain, that's the big mountain near Wolf Butte. You can see forever from up there.
