Good Stuff!! If one has to go to California to visit their kid, San Diego isn't a half bad place to go.

Tell him thanks for serving our country and our thoughts and prayer are of him and his fellow military personnel (and their families) safe service. Tell your Dad thanks for his service, as well.

Congratulations. You must be very proud.

I am truly thankful for the service by him and those before and after him. Without it our freedom would be extinct.
 
TBone, ,I know ex actually how you feel. My son also served this great country and I witnessed him graduate from boot camp, Cavalry Scout school and the best of all come home from Iraq! My thoughts are with him to be safe!

Being there for my son's graduation was an awesome experience. Many may not know that anyone can attend MCRD graduations - well worth your time if you find yourself in San Diego on most any Friday AM and want to check it out. Free and open to the public.
