My son showed interest in waterfowl this week so I took up the offer of my buddy Butch to take us to one of his goose stomps. I didn't hunt but had fun watching my son and a military Vet knock a couple jumbo jets out of the sky. It is my son's first waterfowl so it was extra cool to see it crumple and hit the marsh so hard it was buried in the moss and only the wings sticking out. To top it off we grabbed some more dogs and shot a limit of woodcock. Wisconsin sucks most of the year but in October it is hard to beat.
