I am headed out for a DIY elk hunt again this year. Looking at unit 560, as I know a few guys who have hunted it. And they tell me its wicked hard rough country. Ill pack in with my saddle horses, and I'll hunt it hard. Just curious if anyone has been down in that unit so far, and how are the elk looking this year? To dry, too wet, how bout the wolves? A nice bull would be great, but filling the freezer is more my style.
