Can an antelope truly be a non-typical or is 'freak' a better term?

I took these first pics today at work. Ended up diggin through some old folders and found these other pics. Some aren't the best, but kinda fun to see some pronghorn freaks!

A few I have been lucky enough to harvest

Not deadheads, they were taken in MT, ND and SD over the last 25 years. Always looking for a freak goat.

My wife has been lucky enough to take two wide ones.

This one was her first big game animal, we had watched this buck for about 4 months and she got him on opening morning.

This one was a couple years later and not as big. He was actually standing next to a much larger buck but she opted for this one.

Both from the same area and I have seen others there that had the same characteristic. One was one of the biggest antelope I had ever seen and was on a friends ranch that is leased by some rich doctors. We watched him for a whole summer while working in the area. The guys who lease it scared it onto some nearby state and two old guys shot him just over the border. That made me happy :hump:
