Need help with Reloading.

Do you have any powders picked out yet for the 35 Remington. I can give you some starting points to try. I am using Hornady Leverevolution Powder. Using Hornady 200 grain RN bullets. I do have about 350 200 grain remington CorLoks and some Speer Hot Cor bullets waiting to be loaded. When I get home from work tonight, I can give you what load I am using. About midrange according to the most current Hornady Manual. I use my loads in a 50-60's era Remington 141 pump action and a late 70's early 80's Marlin 336 lever action.

For the 35 Remington I am using 36.1 grains of Hornady Leverevolution powder with a 200 grain Hornady RN (#3515) bullet seated to an OAL of 2.520 and CCI Large Rifle primer.

Hornady Manual published this as 1900 FPS tested out of a Marlin 336. I have not chronoed these loads, but I want to. But I get good groupings out to 100 yards and thats about what I would shoot these anyways. The Hornady lists a min charge 26.6 grain and a max charge of 42.7 grain of the Leverevolution Powder.

I see you have listed also a 358 Win. The same bullet for the 35 Rem can also be used in the 358. There is also the option of using 158 grain bullets which are the same ones found in the 357 Mag. Hope this helps on the 35 Rem. Its a great round.
