So I was able to draw a unit 29 elk tag this year, and was hoping to maybe talk to somebody who has hunted elk in the Salmon area before. I live up here in North Idaho, and have deer hunted unit 29 a couple times before so i know that the terrain is a lot different than what i'm used to hunting up here. I have a pretty good idea where i will be hunting already, but i wouldn't mind getting a few pointers on the best strategies for hunting this area. Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks!
