Chronic Wasting Disease found in deer, west of continental divide again
Chronic Wasting Disease raises concerns in Wyoming
I put together a map, left side showing the WY hunt districts from the Wyoming Game and Fish, and the right, a portion of a 2015 CWD map Lloyd Dorsey put together showing the 23 elk feedgrounds and the hunt districts. The 3 purple dots (each map) show the 2016 approx. locations, based on descriptions, of the 3 new CWD infections in WY. The first near the Star Ranch (HD 145) is about 13 miles from the feedground, about 1 mile south of Alpine. One of the other two locations, HD 111, is about 15 miles east of Yellowstone National Park.
