Tonight is the premier of Episode 2 of the new season. This is an Arizona antelope hunt where Hunt Talker Jereep, a friend since we were toddlers, finally draws a tag after 18 years of applying.

Lots of big bucks in AZ and this hunt is no exception. No way I was going to miss an opportunity it assist on this hunt. Pronghorn are just too great of a temptation. Thanks to NVLongbow and Wade, for the assist on this hunt. Was a great time. Now, if only Wade would draw a tag, we would get a chance to do it all over again.

Nice antelope, Jerry. I feel your pain in not making the best shot. We have all done it.

A few bleeps, aye? :D

More than a "few." When those UTV guys scared off that big buck, my bleeps were a lot more intense and a lot of more them, than Jerry's gentlemanly demeanor.

When you are raised in a logging town, colorful language is something you learn, even before ABCs, colors, and counting to ten. Just part of the culture, though my wife has done a great job of toning me down.

My first spanking from Grandma Newberg was due to my recital of my Dad's most common explatives when he dropped something. I don't recall it, but my Dad surely did. His mother was not the least bit happy that his two year-old son knew so many words that had those aggressive "K" sounds and she expressed that displeasure with him.

Episode 2??? When was Episode 1? I hate Comcast. Everything, including setting up recordings, was much easier with Direct TV. Any way to watch the first episode somewhere?

Emrah

I grew up with a Tree feller myself, and yes you learn quickly at a young age. Great episode even with the Dbags messing up your stalk. It made it even more realistic for an experience on public ground. I's not quite like hanging around in a tree with Stan Potts. :D

Great show last night! I really like how you feature some of the failures you have on your hunts, not every hunt goes perfect. Yourself and the other gentleman were truly excited after harvesting the antelope!

Great show Fin. But im curious about one thing. When I read the story on hunt talk what was the deal with the part about escaping from a mexican jail together? There has got to be a good story behind that.

Oh yeah, that is a story for the ages. That story would take three or four episodes to tell. I have written it for a potential published story and it is over 20,000 words. Though not visible on the surface, both Jerry and I bear deep scars from that night or terror.

ep. 2

That was a good show. More real hunting in 30 minutes than most shows ever have.

What a beautiful Pronghorn! I may have missed it but how did he score?

Watched it last night on the DVR.

I was trying to calculate what that beast scores. Over 85? close to 90?

It was a great show bleeps and all.....great goat....I don't know if I would have been able not to "have a gentleman's conversation " with the atv"s......

Randy,

Just so glad the new season of Fresh Tracks is here. I was totally looking forward to it. By far the best hunting program on TV right now. Both new episodes were fantastic as always. Keep up the hard work and look foward to every episode.
