Delw,
A while back I posted I was having problems deleting pictures from my album. I thought I had the problem fixed but I realized something. I still cannot delete any pictures that were in the old album. I do not know if this makes sense but I can't delete any pictures I did not upload AFTER we went to the current format. Examples are: I cannot delete any pictures in the albums titled "Mule Deer" "Elk" and "antelope".

I want to delete some of the pictures, ie, just clean out a lot of the old ones.

Any help would be appreciated,

DelW sets the Preferences on the albums. I think it's jsut a matter of setting them so you can delete them. I wish I was smart enough to figure that stuff out. It just gives me headaches :)

As an aside, how does one set up a folder for the trophy room. I am able to post to others folers (??) but have not been able to set up my own. Maybe DelW can set me up with one.

I will check your permissions at the shop. whats pics cant you delete , I show you can here( but this pc reads funny at times)

Delw I cannot delete any pics in "Hunting pics 2003" or from the 2004 album either.

would they happen to be the ones with no user name on them? I thought I dumped all of those.

I will start working on that again,
Right now I am in the process of getting my new shopping cart going for my store. and then I have to upgrade hunttalk and will do it at that time( since its very time consuming. during this upgrade all the bugs should be gone( finally) and the board should be a tad faster. Ive tested it a bit and it works pretty good

Thats right, they are the ones without a username. Any way you can make them so I can delete the ones I do not want anymore???

I will fix them for you and you can delete at will.

the ones with out names will take a while but it will get done.

I am almost done with my shopping cart (and I cant wait)

They will be changed with your names and you can do with what you want, Seems thats where the bugs arise everyonce ina while with the gallery is those unnamed pics.
I know millers database all disapeared( its back now) but we couldnt find the reason it dissapeared

Hey if it works in theory it should work permanately right?

I have the same gallery with the same hacks and have 2000+ pics its works fine, why this one doesnt I have no clue. the only thing we can think of is that the unnamed pics are messing it up. So I need to clear them up unfortunatly it takes an long time.
Besides I have to upgrade in 2 weeks before our licence expires and we have to renew. ;)

Hey Del...

There are a number of pics in mine also that I would like to get rid of, the ones I have found don't want to have a delete button on them are those that others accidently put on mine and the ones under your old system... :)

I do not have a problem deleting pictures.Only uploading them.

Nut you cant delete pics that have no name on them....
Matter of fact no one can, I can but through the database only, tahst why its takes forever

I just deleted 2 more that had no name in one of the albums in The section I had for Codie. The user name was blank and I was able to delete. :confused: :confused:

Cool, I think I found something then. its one fo the permissions.....

I can get rid of most all of mine, but I can't get rid of the ones others have dropped in my area...
