Nice looking dog cfree. I think Del's cat would be a nice addition for you and the pup would have a playmate. just don't let Del give you his rabbit because the dog will be ruined for life. smilies/biggrin.gif

Start him out early with lots of bird wings and wings tied to bumpers. Get him on birds by 3 months. Dead ones will work fine.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. She just turned 8 weeks and I have shot a few birds for her already. Del, thanks for the offer on the cat but I don't think live bait is legal in this state! LOL anyways...this is where I found her sleeping last night before I put her in her crate.

Great looking pup! He looks identical to mine... Mine is about 14 weeks old, though - I just got him 3 weeks ago. My first bird dog was a Gordon Setter, but they are hard to find here in AZ (and probably not the best choice), so I thought I'd give the GSP a try....
