Great picture!! But that chukar's still a long way from being in the bag for most hunters! :D
I know Wally is a great shot, but even those easy ones can sometimes give a guy the slip!

Very nice picture...is the dog on the left a Weimaraner? How many chukar were there...just one?

WH, correct on the doggie ID. Mine happens to be the white shorthair. This was a single chukar that split from a covey of 15-18 birds.

Wally Dog, I have a german shorthair that looks similar to yours. They're great dogs. I'll post a picture of him on here sometime if I can figure out how to do it. I haven't been chukar hunting for a couple of years...I think I'm gonna go the first week of January if I can talk my brother into going with me. I may try eastern Oregon just for something different, and besides I already have an Oregon hunting license, I may as well get some use out of it.
