Black Bear in Alaska

Has anyone hunted black bear in SE Alaksa? Some friends and I are looking into a hunt next spring in the Tongass or Chugach National Forests. Anyone have some general ideas on good places to go, and maybe where not to go?

I went to petersburg and shot a nice black bear. The place to go is Prince of Wales island the largest # of black bears and one of the best for size.
